Chichester Station (Chichester)
Chichester Station serves the historic cathedral city of Chichester.
The original station was remodelled by Mr Myre of Westminster in 1881, and at about the same time he designed several new stations locally.
The station was rebuilt in 1961.
It is situated just outside the City Walls, and across the road, very conveniently, is the bus station.
Chichester can be reached by train from Portsmouth and Havant in the West, and Worthing and Brighton in the East, while another line branches off at Ford, to London via Arundel.
Another line formerly ran through the Manhood Peninsula to Selsey, and another ran to Midhurst.
