St. Cuthbert`s Church (Carlisle)

St. Cuthbert`s Church is an important church in the border city of Carlisle.

It is situated in the City Centre, very close to Carlisle Cathedral.

There has been a church on the site since the 7th century.

However, the present church was built in 1779, with a pleasing Georgian interior including a gallery supported on Tuscan columns.

There is an unusual movable pulpit.
