The Whipple Museum of the History of Science is one of many fascinating museums in Cambridge.

It is situated in Free School Lane.

The museum is based on the collection of Robert Stewart Whipple. and consists of a magnificent array of scientific instruments, from telescopes and sextants to the grand orrery made by George Adams in 1750.
