Peterhouse (Cambridge)
Peterhouse is one of the many colleges that together make up the world famous Cambridge University.
It is situated in Trumpington Street.
Peterhouse is the oldest of Cambridge`s colleges, having been founded in 1284, and modelled on Merton College at Oxford.
The original college grew around the Old Court. In the 19th century, it was remodelled by George Gilbert Scott the Younger, with detail provided by William Morris.
