King`s College (Cambridge)
King`s College is one of the many colleges that together make up Cambridge University.
It is situated in King`s Parade.
King`s College Chapel is one of the sublime buildings of England, but there is more to the college than the chapel.
It was founded by Henry VI in 1441, the idea being that scholars from his Eton College would move to here.
Architects who have been involved in the creation of King`s College have included Christopher Wren, Nicholas Hawksmoor, James Gibbs and William Wilkins.
