Jesus College (Cambridge)
Jesus College is one of the many colleges that together make up the world famous Cambridge University.
It is situated in Jesus Lane.
The college is based on the mediaeval St. Radegund`s nunnery, which by 1496 had been reduced to two nuns. At that point Bishop Alcock of Ely refounded it as a college.
There is a Tudor gateway, while the screen in the chapel is by Augustus Pugin. G. F. Bodley, William Bodley and Edward Burne-Jones added to the chapel.
