Cambridge University Museum of Archaeology and Ant (Cambridge)

The Cambridge University Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology is a fascinating collection in Cambridge.

It is situated in Downing Street.

The Cambridge Antiquarian Society was founded in 1839, and its collections were given to the university in 1883.

As well as items from prehistory, the museum contains the rood screen created for Winchester Cathedral by Inigo Jones.
