Cambridge and County Folk Museum (Cambridge)
The Cambridge and County Folk Museum is a fascinating collection in Cambridge.
It is situated in Castle Street, across the River Cam from the city centre.
The building was for three centuries the White Horse Inn until its closure in 1934. Full of tiny rooms used by the pub, it was opened as a folk museum in 1936, following an exhibition by the Women`s Institute.
Tools, toys, traps, shoes vie for attention with many other items. There is even a collection of inn signs.
