Manor House (Bury St. Edmunds)

The Manor House is a historic house in Bury St. Edmunds.

It is situated on Honey Hill.

The house was built in 1736 for the Hervey family, Earls of Bristol. Their country seat was at Ickworth, and this was their town house. The architect was James Burrough, a local man.

It was taken over as council offices in the 1940s, and restored as a museum in 1993.
