Industrial Museum (Bristol)

The Industrial Museum is one of the many places of inerest in the historic city of Bristol.

It is situated at Princes Wharf.

The museum covers all aspects of Bristol`s industrial history, right up to the modern aerospace industry, including Concorde, and a great deal of maritime interest.

On the water outside are three craft, which regularly take visitors for trips around the docks. The steam tug "Mayflower" was built in 1861; the tug "John King" formerly operated at Bristol; and the diesel fireboat "Pyronaut" was built in 1934.

There are also huge electric cranes, and a section of steam railway has been restored.
