Holy Trinity Church (Bosham)
Holy Trinity is the parish church of the historic village of Bosham in Sussex.
There has been a Christian church on this site since about 650, and the present tower and nave were built about 1030.
The church is shown on the Bayeux Tapestry, as Harold of Wessex visited before sailing to Normandy in 1064. This adventure led to William of Normandy`s claim to the English throne.
The daughter of Cnut is believed to be buried in the church, and so is Herbert of Bosham, Secretary to Thomas a Becket.
