Blaenau Ffestiniog Station (Blaenau Ffestiniog)
Blaenau Ffestiniog Station serves the slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, now a popular tourist destination.
It is the terminus of a British Rail line which runs along the Conwy Valley from Llandudno via Betws-y-Coed.
And it is also the terminus of the famous Ffestiniog Railway, whose steam trains now take visitors to Porthmadog. It was originally set up by the industrialist William Madock to take slate for export.
