Blackpool Tower (Blackpool)
Blackpool Tower is a much loved landmark in the leading seaside resort of Blackpool in Lancashire.
It is one of the best known structures in England.
The tower was built in 1894 as homage to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and rises to 518 feet.
Attractions in Blackpool Tower include the Tower Aquarium, Tower Top Ride, Walk of Faith, 3D Cinema, Jurassic Walk and the Tower Ballroom, not to mention he circus and the organ.
There is also a children`s play area known as Jungle Jim`s Towering Adventureland.
