Bishop Auckland Station (Bishop Auckland)

Bishop Auckland Station is the railway station that serves Bishop Auckland in County Durham.

It is the second station on the site, the first having closed in 1867.

Bishop Auckland is now the terminus of a branch line. Trains come from Darlington by way of Heighington, Newton Aycliffe and Shildon.

There were once a number of lines leading from Bishop Auckland.

One such ran to West Auckland, Evenwood and Barnard Castle.

Another went to Harperley, Frosterley and Wearhead.
