Sally Lunn`s (Bath)
Sally Lunn`s is a famous eating house in the historic city of Bath.
It is situated in North Parade Passage, tucked away behind Bath Abbey.
The house was originally part of the monastic buildings, and dates from 1482. Sally Lunn herself lived here about 1680, and became celebrated for producing delicious buns, still made here and on sale.
There is a small museum in the cellar, showing baking artefacts and old ovens, while foundations can be seen dating from the Roman, Saxon, Norman and mediaeval periods.
