Prior Park Landscape Garden (Bath)
Prior Park Landscape Garden is a lovely garden in the historic and elegant city of Bath.
It is situated in Ralph Allen Drive, and is the garden of Prior Park College.
This beautiful and intimate 18th century landscape garden was created by Ralph Allen, the famous Bath entrepreneur, with advice from Alexander Pope and Lancelot "Capability" Brown.
It has a fine sweeping valley, affording magnificent views of the city, together with a Palladian bridge and three lakes.
In recent years the Serpentine Lake, Cascade and Cabinet have been reinstated.
The garden is now in the care of the National Trust.
