Upton House (Banbury)

Upton House is a National Trust property at Banbury bought the house as it was in hunting country, but started to fill it with art.

George Stubbs and John Ferneley are prominent among the paintings of animals, and there is also work by El Greco.

The house also contains an outstanding collection of porcelain.
