Duthie Park (Aberdeen)

Duthie Park is a formal public park in Aberdeen.

The main entrance is in Polmuir Road.

Duthie Park covers 44 acres, and was donated to the city by Elizabeth Duthie in 1880, being opened to the public in 1883.

There is a bandstand, as well as fountains, ponds and statues. The Rose Mountain contains over 100,000 roses.

The David Welch Winter Gardens are named after the city`s former parks director, and contain many exotic species.
