Wickham is a village in Hampshire, in the attractive valley of the River Meon and 3 miles from Fareham.
The Square is very large, and is surrounded by a varied selecton of houses and cottages, some dating from the 16th century.
There is a vineyard nearby.
William of Wykeham was born here in 1324. He became Chancellor of England and founded both Winchester College and New College at Oxford.
