St. Erth is a village in the Penwith district of West Cornwall, 6 miles from St. Ives (Cornwall).
It stands on the River Hayle.
The unusual name is from the church dedication to the Irish saint St. Erth, brother of St. Euny and follower of St. Patrick.
There is a theme park aimed at children.
