Sompting
Sompting is a village in Sussex, 2 miles from Worthing.
The pretty village street features cottages of brick and flint.
St. Mary`s Church dates back to about 1000, and has a 100 foot Saxon tower capped by a shingled and gabled cap, known as a Rhenish helm, unique in England.
The former manor house, Sompting Abbots, is now used as a preparatory school.
