Rye Harbour
Rye Harbour is a maritime village in East Sussex, one mile from the historic town of Rye.
It is situated on the edge of saltings, with a nature reserve that includes salmarsh, riverbanks, beach and reclaimed farmland.
Camber Castle is one of the castles built in the 16th century by Henry VIII. Built beside the sea, it is now a good way inland.
There is a ruined and ivyclad Martello Tower.
