Rowsley

Rowsley is a village in Derbyshire, 3 miles from Bakewell and within the Peak District national park.

It is here that the River Wye flows into the River Derwent. A bridge spanning the Wye dates from the 17th century.

There are 17th century and 18th century houses built for workers on the Haddon Hall estate.

The Peacock Inn dates from 1652.

Caudwell`s Mill is a 19th century water powered flour mill.
