Rothbury is a small market town in Northumberland, 11 miles from Alnwick and on the River Coquet.
Parish church has a 9th century sandstone cross shaft, incorporated into the font.
Mediaeval bridge over the river.
The former rectory is built around the 14th century Whitton Tower.
Cragside, built by Lord Armstrong in 1865, was the first house in the world to have electric lighting.
