Redmire is a village in North Yorkshire, in Wensleydale, and 4 miles from Leyburn.
St. Mary`s Church dates from the mid 12th century.
It is said that over the centuries the village has occupied four different sites.
Redmire Station is at present the terminus of the preserved Wensleydale Railway.
High up in Wensleydale, the village commands wonderful views, and Bolton Castle is a mile away.
