Marks Tey is a village in Essex, 5 miles from Colchester, of which it is now almost a suburb.
St. Andrew`s Church has a wooden tower and font.
Marks Tey is at the junction of two major Roman roads.
It is probably best known as a railway junction.
Today, though, there is an excellent food shop / restaurant known as The Food Company.
