Lamorna
Lamorna is a very pretty hamlet in Penwith in Cornwall, 4 miles from Penzance.
A delightful wooded valley leads down from the road to Lamorna Cove, a little bay with a jetty and some old cottages.
There is lush vegetation in the valley.
Just outside Lamorna are the standing stones known as the Pipers and the stone circle known as the Merry Maidens.
Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby and his wife Anne gave their daughter Gillian the second name Lamorna in tribute to this enchanting little place.
