Kyle of Lochalsh
Kyle of Lochalsh is a village in the Highlands of Scotland, on the Lochalsh peninsula and 12 miles from Shiel Bridge.
The village is at the terminus of a branch railway line and was one of the major ferry ports for the Isle of Skye until the road bridge was built.
It is separated from Skye by the narrow Kyle Akin, which links Loch Alsh with the Inner Sound.
