Kinver is a pleasant small town in Staffordshire, 4 miles from Stourbridge.
St. Peter`s Church, built of the local red sandstone, stands high above the town, with wide views. Part of the Norman rood loft staircase survives.
The Grammar School, founded in the 16th century, is now a private house.
The Kinver Rock Houses, occupied until the 1960s, are built into the red sandstone at Holy Austin Rocks, part of Kinver Edge. They are now in the care of the National Trust.
