Hartley Wintney
Hartley Wintney is a village in Hampshire, 3 miles from Hook and surrounded by heath, common and woodland.
For centuries it was a major stopping point for traffic going South Westwards from London, and had several coaching inns.
Hartley Wintney once had a priory, but still has two mediaeval barns.
The large central green was planted with rows of oak trees in 1820.
