Great Shelford is a village in Cambridgeshire, 3 miles from Cambridge. It is between Trumpington and Stapleford, and not far from the border with Essex.

The Gogmagog Hills, a range of low chalk downs, lie just outside Great Shelford. Wandlebury earthworks date back to around 200 AD.
