Froncysyllte
Froncysyllte is a village in North Wales, 3 miles from Chirk.
It stands at the gateway to the lovely Vale of Llangollen, where the English plains meet the Welsh mountains along the valley of the River Dee.
The mighty Pontcysyllte Viaduct, built by Thomas Telford, spans the valley of the Dee, close to the historic wharf at Trevor.
