Coverack

Coverack is a fishing village in Cornwall, 10 miles from Helston.

It is situated on the East side of the Lizard peninsula, and sheltered by Dolor Point. The village was once noted for smuggling.

The tiny harbour is constructed from the local Serpentine stone, and is dated 1724.

Some of the little cottages are thatched.

Behind the village rise Goonhilly Downs, while 3 miles off shore are the dangerous Manacle Rocks.
