Chingford
Chingford is a town in Greater London, formerly in Essex. It is at the Southern extremity of Epping Forest.
The attractive 16th century timber framed Queen Elizabeth`s Hunting Lodge, now houses a small museum devoted to the forest.
The William Girling Reservoir, beside the River Lea, was constructed in 1951.
Nearby is Gilwell Lodge, well known to Boy Scouts.
