Althorne
Althorne is a village in Essex, close to the River Crouch and 3 miles from Burnham-on-Crouch.
It stands on a ridge with fine views to North and South.
The Perpendicular St. Andrew`s Church dates mainly from the 14th century, and has a 15th century tower. The outstanding font was made about 1400.
