Portsmouth Festival of Christmas (A Coach Trip in Portsmouth)
"Portsmouth Festival of Christmas" is a Coach Trip devised and led by the well known Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These excursions are a most enjoyable way of soaking up some Local History.
Portsmouth is Britain's premier maritime city, situated on the South coast in Hampshire.
The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 8am, and arrives back at about 9.30pm.
Colin gives his customary commentary along the way, bringing to life the many interesting towns and villages along the route, in a way that makes his excursions truly unique.
Portsmouth has an annual Festival of Christmas, featuring all the traditional aspects of the festive period, with Christmas trees and decorations, carol singing, hot chestnuts and all the other features that make this such a well loved season.
The Festival takes place in and around the Royal Dockyard, a much visited tourist attraction in its own right, including HMS Victory and the Mary Rose, with HMS Warrior nearby.
Tickets for this trip include admission to the Festival.
