Hereford (A Coach Trip in Hereford)
“Hereford” is a Coach Trip devised and led by Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours, the Blue Badge Guide, as part of his year-round programme.
These excursions are an enjoyable way to soak up some Local History.
The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester at 8am, and is due back about 9.30pm.
Colin will, as always, be giving a commentary along the way, as the coach travels through the pretty Herefordshire countryside.
Hereford is an ancient cathedral city with a picturesque centre, and was in Anglo-Saxon days the capital of the Western part of the Kingdom of Mercia.
A feature of Colin’s trips to historic towns is his Guided Walk, and of course he will be leading a walk around Hereford, pointing out many places of interest.
These will include Hereford Cathedral, All Saints Church, the Old House, Church Street, Wye Bridge and St. Owen’s Street.
