Haunted Westminster (A Guided Walk in London)
"Haunted Westminster" is one of the popular Guided Walks in London devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These strolls are an enjoyable way to soak up some Local History.
Although Colin now lives in Leicester, he worked in London in his younger life, in offices in the City and later as a Cinema Manager in the West End.
This walk starts outside the National Gallery, in Trafalgar Square.
During this walk, Colin recounts stories of hauntings close to the corridors of power, including one ghost seen by Winston Churchill, Harold Macmillan and Denis Healey.
Another of the ghosts is widely believed to be that of Jack the Ripper, said to have committed suicide in 1888.
Colin leads a number of other walks in London, including in a macabre vein "Haunted London" and "The Haunted Capital".
