Bath (A Coach Trip in Bath)
"Bath" is one of the Coach Trips devised and led by the well known Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These excursions are an enjoyable way of learning some Local History.
The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester at 8am, and returns at about 9pm.
Colin gives his usual commentary along the way, pointing out places of interest and bringing them to life in his own inimitable way. This is one of the things that makes Colin's excursions unique.
Bath was an important Roman town, and was built around hot springs. The Roman Baths are still in existence and a major tourist attraction. The city became a city of considerable elegance in the Georgian period.
Included in the trip is Colin's Guided Walk around Bath, pointing out such highlights as the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Royal Crescent, The Circus and Pulteney Bridge.
