Albert Dock (A Coach Trip in Liverpool)
"Albert Dock" is one of the very popular Coach Trips devised and led by Blue Badge Guide Colin Crosby, of Colin Crosby Heritage Tours.
These excursions are a terrific way of soaking up some Local History.
Albert Dock is a part of the fabulous waterfront at Liverpool, once one of the busy docks and now a thriving tourist attraction in its own right.
The coach leaves St. Margarets Bus Station in Leicester City Centre at 8am, and is due back about 9pm.
Albert Dock has a vast collection of listed warehouses, and several excellent places to visit, including The Beatles Story, Tate Liverpool and Museum of Slavery. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants.
On the way to Liverpool on the coach, Colin gives his usual inimitable commentary, bringing to life the many fascinating places and sights.
