World Travel Market

I attended the World Travel Market recently.

This is one of the trade shows for the tourism industry. I try to get to as many of them as possible in the year.

Not only do I find out about new developments of which I might otherwise be unaware, it's also a chance to do some networking, and meet and talk to people from towns, tourist attractions, hotels etc with whom I might well co-operate at some point in the future.

The World Travel Market takes place annually at the Excel Centre in the regenerated Docklands area of East London.

It's by far the biggest of the shows, and gives a chance to talk to people fom not just Britain, but from all around the world.

Yes, I enjoy it very much.
