The Wonderful London Olympics

My wife Anne and I visited London for a day at the wonderful London 2012 Olympic Games.

The organisation, as is known throughout the world, was absolutely superb. And of course most British people had just been annoyed and insulted by an American wannabe President, who had come over and told us that we didn`t know what we were doing and that it would be a shambles.

We travelled down from Leicester to St. Pancras Station, and then changed onto a fast train to Stratford (Essex), and walked through to the Olympic Park.

We had tickets for the men`s hockey, and were able to watch two matches.

It was a fabulous day, and we were so pleased to have been able to experience it.
