Popular London Walks
Three times a year, I have a day in London, where I lead two different Guided Walks on the same day.
I recently had one of these days.
The first of the two walks was "London`s Lost Riverside", walking up one side and down the other of where the River Fleet used to run. Actually, it still does, but functions underground as a sewer. The river valley is obvious, once you realise it!
The second of the walks was "Haunts of Jack the Ripper", looking at the areas and streets which the Ripper, whoever he was, would have known and probably used to make his getaway.
It was a very successful day.
