Museum About Muhammad Ali
A museum has opened in the United States devoted to Muhammad Ali.
The museum is situated in Louisville, Kentucky, which was the birthplace of one of the most famous people of the 20th century.
By common consent, Muhammad Ali, world heavyweight champion, was the greatest boxer in history, and a highly intelligent and literate man who was struck down in middle age by debilitating illness.
Born Cassius Clay, under which name he fought until he was famous enough to change his name, the brash young boxer put lots of backs up by his arrogance and publicity-seeking. But to be truthful he needed the publicity to bring him to public notice, and the arrogance was really supreme and justified self-confidence.
The Muhammad Ali Museum opened in Louisville towards the end of 2005.
