Dunstable Tudor Festival
Anne (my wife) and I spent the day recently at Dunstable in Bedfordshire.
We had been invited to the annual Dunstable Tudor Festival, and the opening of the town’s new Visitor Centre and Tourist Information Centre.
It is very unusual for us to have a day together. We are both very busy in different ways, so that even when I am free she is not, and vice versa.
So we had a nice day.
While we were in Dunstable, we looked around the Priory Church, an interesting building which featured heavily in England’s Tudor history, in particular the divorce of Henry VIII from his first wife, Catherine of Aragon.
