Dickens and Crime Walks in London
I recently had another of my days in London where I lead two different Guided Walks on the same day.
On this occasion, the first of the walks was "Charles Dickens` London". Setting off from the National Gallery, we toured places associated with the great author and social reformer in his 200th anniversary year.
Later on, it was "Crime and Punishment". This walk started at St. Pauls Cathedral, and concentrated on some of the city`s more notorious crimes, as well as some of the prisons and places of execution to which these crimes led..
