Coach Trip to Hastings and Rye
I recently went, as a passenger, on a Coach Trip to the Sussex towns of Hastings and Rye.
This was one of the excursions run by Woods Coaches of Leicester, the company from whom I hire coaches for my own trips.
After stopping at South Mimms Services, we arrived at Hastings, a seaside town that was one of the Cinque Ports, in the late morning. I had a good walk around the Old Town, and enjoyed a very good fish and chips meal at a restaurant on the seafront.
Then it was on to Rye, one of the two "antient towns" that were added to the Cinque Ports. An excellent little town, where I visited the church and a teashop.
On the way back, we stopped briefly at Toddington Services.
And of coursae, as always, I enjoyed the day.
