"Boogie Nights" at Salford
Anne and I went to see a production of musical at Salford recently.
The musical was "Boogie Nights", part written by Shane Richie, and it was performed at Islington MIll.
The drama company concerned is Almost Famous, comprising students from Salford University, and one of the leading performers was our son Robin.
Anne had been to see Robin in "West Side Story", and we both, along with another son Kevin, went to see him in "The Importance of Being Earnest".
In "Boogie Nights", Robin played the father of the central character, in other words a complete generation apart from all the other performers. Needless to say, we were again very impressed.
We would like also to congratulate the entire Almost Famous drama company, who have a great deal of talent.
