Armistice Day Talk at Library

A recent talk to the the Library Club at the Central Lending Library in Leicester was specially designed for Armistice Day.

Given by John Coster, it was one of a series of talks and events organised by the library for 11th November.

John spoke mostly about servicemen from the Leicester area who had lost their lives in various conflicts, not just the two World Wars, and discussed how the nature of memorials has been changing, with much of the recording now being done in publications and increasingly on the internet.
